EVERY BUILDING HAS
A STORY

BIM Monuments is a team of experienced specialists in the field of protection, conservation and restoration of historic facilities. We work together to digitise cultural heritage and historical facilities.

Scope of work

We make digital BIM models and BIM Heritage with passion  and extensive experience. BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology is the creation of a virtual model of a building containing information on the physical elements (e.g. materials, construction, fire resistance, etc.) and an information layer on its history (e.g. conservation research, dating, etc.). A BIM model is a database linked to the model elements of a particular building.

Digital BIM Models

BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology  applies to engineering, architectural projects and the management of historic facilities.

+ BIM model for reconstruction and simulation of design solutions

+ BIM model to support facility management

+ BIM model for precise and consistent technical documentation

BIM model as a source of reliable information for the quantity take-off and the quantity survey

+ BIM model is an integrated database of relevant building information

Precise 3D Scanning

3D scanning is one of the key steps in acquiring information about a building. The result of the 3D measurement is a point cloud, based on which we create a building model.

3D scanning provides precise and highly accurate measurement data

3D scanning is a key step in the reconstruction or renovation of a building

3D scanning is the most effective way to measure and inventory a building

Digitisation of historic and monuments buildings

We practise 3D scanning and BIM modelling  at every stage of the investment process – from the inventory of the existing state, the virtual model based on the construction or detailed design to the integrated database of the facility at the end of reconstruction and renovation. We incorporate building information to create a database integrated with the model elements.

We support investors, designers and contractors throughout the building life cycle. We have many years of experience in cooperation with renowned architectural and conservation studios, Historic Preservation Offices, Universities and research units

Benefits of cooperation

Our support enables you to avoid several problems that arise during the entire investment process of redeveloping an existing facility. These range from inaccuracies and errors in documentation to a lack of reliable investment data.

We are involved in building a database and integrating building information. We feed unique information into the model from surveys, technical expertise, archive documentation, etc. The database prepared in the model supports the facility’s management and is used for design work or archiving the historic facility.

Our team is there to help solve our customers’ problems using modern technology. Our services will allow you to go through the investment process more safely, avoiding additional costs (budget overruns) or significant postponements of tasks.

Building information modelling is the technology of the future, which can be used most effectively at the stage of purchasing/selling a facility or redevelopment/refurbishment. Our clients include private investors, specialist design and conservation studios, and public institutions or research centres not only in Poland.
